Questions before you start?

Do I need a company or professional Play Console account?

No company is needed to create a TestCircle account. Your Google Play account type and testing requirements are determined by Google; TestCircle helps you organize a closed test.

Do testers just install and keep the app?

Our testers are asked to try the app’s key flows and share useful feedback. Simply keeping an app installed is not the same as meaningful testing.

Will this guarantee production access?

No. Google reviews your testing history, app quality, policy compliance, and production-access application. TestCircle does not control that decision.

Can I be both a developer and a tester?

Yes. Choose both roles in your profile. You cannot test your own app through TestCircle.

When do I pay?

Checkout is still being set up. You can create an account and prepare your app request now; paid recruitment will start only after payments are enabled.
